RIP Sherlock Holmes & Related Fandoms :(

Sherlock Holmes & Related Fandoms now redirects to Sherlock (TV). Time to go change your fandom tags :(

I'm honestly not sure how to tag my kitten!Holmes fic now. (For the unfamiliar, kitten!Holmes is an extremely tiny and silly fandom that spun off from graycardinal's Holmestice fic A Foregone Introduction. kitten!Holmes is not (yet???) a canon tag.) It seems disingenuous to tag it with either Sherlock Holmes - Arthur Conan Doyle or Remington Steele (TV), since it has very little to do with either of them. I might just leave it with kitten!Holmes as the only fandom tag, but that makes it impossible to find via the dashboard filters. Admittedly I kind of doubt anyone's trying to find it anyway... but I want things organized, dang it!

Speaking of which... this is going to make it a lot harder to find small Sherlock Holmes fandoms. Maybe we need to start using the Moreholmes tag? (It's not a canonical tag... but that can change!)

Please come add your kitten!Holmes story to the more_holmes collection (modded by yours truly). It hasn't been very active recently (for a while there, there was a backlash against AO3 collections, and I stopped trying to promote it), but it was designed for exactly this scenario: collecting weird little Holmesian fandoms that people would never think to go looking for.

And also feel free to spread the word about the collection, if it pleases you!

Also, I understand that there once was a collection for pure ACD stories (to make them easier to find, since ACD gets cross-tagged on so many other flavors of Holmes -- which no doubt will start happening more, now that we no longer have an umbrella tag). Have you heard of it? Do you know what it is? I'm trying to track it down.
