I've reached a new milestone: I now have a recommendation for every day of the year over on AO3!* Go ahead and check them out. There are fandoms, tropes, and genres to suit all tastes!

I try my best to tag according to an organized method. Some tags that might require explanation are listed under the cut.

Rare Fandoms refers to fandoms that were Yuletide-eligible at the time that I tagged them as such. Rare Characters, Rare Pairings, and Rare Relationships are evaluated relative to the size of the fandom. Rare Relationships is only used for rare polyamorous relationships.

Quote: She Doesn't Even Go Here! (Mean Girls) is for fics featuring at least one fandom with which I am not familiar. (For filtering purposes, I prioritize using canonical bookmark tags over using tags that make any sense whatsoever.)

Gift Work refers exclusively to works that were created for me, specifically, or in response to a prompt that I left. Its subtags are Gift Fic and Gift Art.

Anonymity refers to anonymous works. Orphans refers to orphaned works. Abandoned Work - Unfinished and Discontinued refers to fics which were officially abandoned, were orphaned while incomplete, or had gone without an update for 10+ years at the time of tagging.

Singing means fics which can be sung.

Hurt/Comfort is only used to tag fics where the hurt character acts stoic; for regular hurt/comfort, see Feel-good. For hurt/comfort where comfort does take place but the focus is on the hurt, see Whump.

Disguise is just for the specific trope in which one character pretends to be another canon character.

Canon Compliant refers specifically to fics which are technically canon-compliant, but are gleefully incompatible with how the creator(s) of canon is(/are) likely to (have) interpret(ed) their own work.

(*Disclaimer: Some works may be deleted. As far as I know, there's not an easy way to filter for that. Also, 63 works that I've bookmarked are locked to Archive users, so log into AO3 for the full experience.)

I've barely started digging, and goodness, you have some fascinating things in here! (The Infinite Loops fic is brilliant!) I'm going to have to take some time over this.

Thank you for your work curating and reccing!

I'll check Epistolary out! Right now I'm going through the "I don't go here" tag, figuring if you enjoyed it without knowing the fandom, I might also.

And I haven't been keeping up with Holmes fandom these last few years -- there's stuff here by [archiveofourown.org profile] iwantthatcoat and [archiveofourown.org profile] rachelindeed that I haven't read.

I, erm, did do a vanity search for my own works, and was very flattered by the results. Thank you for the recs -- and especially for the smaller Holmes fandoms!
